Bartolomé March Foundation Museum

Located next to the Almudaina Royal Palace and Palma Cathedral, the Palau March is one of the most iconic landmarks in the historic center of the Balearic capital.

This majestic palace, originally designed as a residence for the March family, was built between 1939 and 1945 on commission from the Mallorcan businessman Joan March Ordinas. The architectural style of this imposing mansion blends various styles, ranging from historicism to influences from Mallorcan and Italian Baroque palaces.

In 1975, Bartolomé March, the second son of Joan March Ordinas, established the Bartolomé March Servera Foundation, dedicated primarily to the arts and patronage.

Today, the Palau March serves as the headquarters of the Bartolomé March Foundation Museum. With your ticket, you can explore its main spaces at your own pace:

Viewing Platform: Its spectacular garden terrace offers one of the best panoramic views of the cathedral and Palma’s historic center.

Opening Hours

The Bartolomé March Foundation Museum is open Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm. Admission to the museum is permitted until 30 minutes before closing. Visitors must begin to leave the galleries 10 minutes before closing.
