Pedra Bonita Hike + Vista Chinesa Viewpoint
Pedra Bonita & Vista Chinesa Viewpoint
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your Rio de Janeiro hotel to venture into the Tijuca Forest, one of the world's largest urban rainforests. Ready for an immersive experience connecting with nature?
Once we arrive in the Pedra Bonita area, we'll begin a 50-minute hike along a trail of easy to moderate difficulty, surrounded by the lush vegetation of the Atlantic Forest.
During the hike, you'll witness the diverse wildlife that inhabits this area. It's very common to spot capuchin monkeys and even, with a bit of luck, sloths resting in the treetops.
Upon reaching the top of Pedra Bonita, at about ft (700 m), we'll enjoy one of the most breathtaking views of Rio. We'll be face to face with the imposing Pedra da Gávea and can watch the colorful paragliders and hang gliders take off from the nearby ramp.
After this moment, we'll head to one of the most iconic viewpoints in Rio to put the finishing touch on the tour. From Vista Chinesa, you'll be left speechless by the panoramic view encompassing Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain, and Guanabara Bay.
Finally, we'll begin our return journey to the starting point, where we'll say goodbye after a total of 4 hours.
